Privacy, cookies and ads

Bailo Luego Existo wants useful analytics, not weird surveillance. This page explains what is stored today, what Google Analytics measures and how cookies and ads are handled during AdSense review.

Data we process

Visits and security: Our own log records dynamic requests, dates, routes, sanitized parameters, responses, IP-derived identifiers, browser, referrer, language, hosting-provided country and technical headers. Cookie, authorization, token and API-key values are redacted or hashed before storage.
Forms and community: Suggestions, ratings, corrections, contact and newsletter forms can contain the submitted text, optional name, email or Instagram handle, source, moderation state and an abuse-control identifier.
Games: Chosen player name, player cookie, scores, IP-derived identifier, browser and technical game metrics used for rankings and abuse controls.
Session: A technical session cookie supports forms and admin login. A random ble_visitor cookie estimates visitors and enforces abuse limits; it is not sold as a profile.
Google Analytics: Optional measurement for visits and performance. Analytics storage starts denied and the Google library loads only after analytics consent.
Google AdSense: The ownership meta tag supports review. The advertising library and ad slots are not loaded.

Storage and retention

Each store has a separate authority

Editorial and community content remains in the primary bailo.sqlite3 SQLite store. Activity, security and rate limits use primary MariaDB database ble_activity. The old activity SQLite file is frozen only as a rollback artifact. Game scores remain in juegos.sqlite3. Activity is retained for 180 days by default.

Security

Useful headers, not secret collection

We keep technical headers needed to identify crawlers, proxies and abuse. Authorization values, cookies, tokens and API keys are redacted or hashed.

Rights

Correction, deletion and reporting

Use contact or suggestions to correct or delete submitted data, report unsafe or infringing material, or challenge a moderation decision. Public contributions remain unpublished until reviewed.

External services

Network requests outside Bailo Luego Existo

Depending on the page and your choices, your browser may contact Google Analytics or AdSense, privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds at youtube-nocookie.com, Leaflet files from unpkg.com, OpenStreetMap tile servers, or an official source you choose to open. Those providers receive normal network data such as IP address and user agent under their own policies.

Useful external content

Dance maps use Leaflet and OpenStreetMap tiles. Selected guide videos use privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds; YouTube may process data when the player is loaded or used.

Google

Analytics and partner processing

Google may process measurement or advertising data under its own policies. Analytics consent is separate from the Google-certified advertising CMP.

Advertising

AdSense remains fail-closed

Ads stay off on forms, utilities, games, errors, filtered or empty results, review-only content, event and venue interaction pages, and English pages whose editorial translation is not complete. We never ask visitors to click ads or disguise them as navigation.

Google and other third parties may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. Personalized advertising remains subject to consent and account approval.
